If you’re an Indie Author, like I am, this is an interesting article on how some elements are over used for book covers. This is something I am printing off and keeping by my computer when I make book covers.

Tonight I finally did it! I visited Germany, France, Japan, and the UK all in one night!! Alright, alright so it was just to their Amazon Author Central pages, but still. I set up my author central page at each of these in hopes of letting other potential readers learn a little more about me and get to see my lovely face. ;) If you are looking to add your author profile to these sites here are the links:
UK – https://authorcentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/landing?
Germany – https://authorcentral.amazon.de/gp/landing?
France – https://authorcentral.amazon.fr/gp/landing?
Japan – https://authorcentral.amazon.co.jp/gp/landing?
I also tried looking for the author central pages for Spain, India, Italy, Canada, China and Brazil but they don’t have them yet. I will keep my eyes peeled and pass along other updates.
Cheers!
So the next book I was working on changing the look to is Day & Night: A Collection of Nature Poetry. The second cover looks far better than the first. A definite growth in understanding book cover design from when I first published my books. Well, you can see for yourself:

I have also made some improvements to the manuscript as well.
I hope you enjoy the newer cover and updated interior!
Off to work on the next book that needs updating.
Lately I have been going through my books and creating newer, and I think, better looking covers. I will show you the first cover for The History of Sackets Harbor, NY I created using CreateSpace‘s cover design, and the second cover I created using http://www.ipiccy.com

My husband likes the first cover and I am going for the second because it looks more historical which goes with the content of the book. Which one do you like better?
I have also updated the description of the book as I learn to write better book descriptions. I just pray some of these changes will make a big difference in reaching people and attracting them. I guess we’ll see since I know with the books I have published, the market for them is relatively small. Still, I’m gonna keep tryin’!
Okay, so the quiz thing didn’t go so well last time. I don’t think I’ll try that again this time.
I still have some free promo codes for Day & Night: A Collection of Nature Poetry and for The History of Sackets Harbor, NY.
Give me a shout if your interested!
Have a great day!
