Knee Surgery

I just wanted to let everyone know I won’t be writing a post for this week aside from this one because I am going in for left knee surgery this morning at 7:30. At some point I will be going in for surgery for my right knee. I know I have been trying to post on Wednesdays but this surgery has drained my creative juices so I didn’t have much to say. Hopefully, that will change this coming week.

But I was wondering…could all you prayer warriors pray for me going into this surgery as well as recovery? I appreciate it! Praying for all my readers.

A Daughter's Promise, Novel In November

Writing a Novel in November?

I am. And the novel I’m working on is titled A Daughter’s Promise where 17 year old Sage Buchanon learns that her mother is terminally ill. Her mother is worried Sage and the rest of her family will walk away from the Lord after her death. Sage doesn’t want her mom to worry so she promises her mother she won’t walk way from God. But after her mother passes Sage finds it hard to keep her promise due to the anger she feels toward God. Can Sage keep her promise, or will she disappoint her mother’s memory and walk away from God after all?

On Day 1 I wrote 403 words as I always find it hard to get going on the first day but once I get into the swing of things it gets a bit easier. So as the days progress I’m sure my word count will too.
